Stella decided to paint the other night, and right away we saw that she was doing so much better controlling her brush than she had with past painting sessions. She draws quite a bit, but this was the first time she was able to make an actual picture with paint (it started out as a face, but then she painted the entire thing in so you can't see the detail anymore).
She declared this painting for Aunt Tammy right away, and wanted to put it in an envelope and mail it. I told her we might want to let it dry first, and since we are going to be seeing Aunt Tammy in a few weeks we might wait and not fold it up into an envelope. She agreed that would be fine!
