out on the town

I told him that I was sad we never get to go anywhere, and that once the baby came we really would never get to go anywhere alone for a long time, and that I had *one* dressy outfit that I could fit into. So he said if I got a babysitter we could go.

So Friday evening we dropped the kids off with a friend and headed off post. We did a tiny bit of shopping and then had a lovely dinner at Chateau Chang, the restaurant where both the girls got to go on their birthday dates this year. It was very nice! Too expensive to do very often, but very nice nonetheless.

This completes this year's installment of "Dates I got to go on with my husband". Stay tuned sometime in the year 2008 or so, when we get to go on another.
