We went and picked out a tree Friday here on post. We were very pleased to see Noble Firs, which are one of our favorites even when we have a choice (which we did not). So for a cool $50 they even tossed it in a truck and followed me home with it. I can't say I've met friendlier tree-lot sales people than these soldier volunteers they had working there. Really really nice. We got it up Friday night, the lights on it Saturday (including a quick trip to the store for more lights) and this is how it looks right now. Unfortunately Jason had to leave at 6 am today and will not be back until late Monday night, so the ornaments will have to wait until Tuesday evening. Even though the girls were disappointed, they agreed to help me work on a popcorn and cranberry string in the meantime. Popcorn is popped and sitting out to get stale-ified today, and we will string it up tomorrow for a lovely garland. Lots of fun!

Oh my the trees are in...I hope we can get one before they're all sold out...I'm going to have to let the dh take care of this...and if we don't get one cause he's got my car all the time...he doesn't get to complain when I buy a rosemary bush cut to look like ol Tananbom...lol. Your tree looks lovely!
