I have finally picked My First Sock Ever back up. It is actually a lot of fun to knit and I am pleased with how it is turning out. A very special knitting friend brought me this gorgeous yarn and
this book last summer, and I am finally using them. I actually have made a tiny mistake a few rows back, and after some inner turmoil over the matter have decided it's best I go back and fix it. I also saw the page of errata from the book when I went to make the link for this post, so I'll check to see if I need to make any other adjustments as well.
I am thrilled with this technique using 2 circular needles, as
double-pointed needles bug the heck out of me. With sock knitting under my belt, I could be happy for a very long time, happily knitting for my somewhat large-ish feet (which LOVE funky socks!)

they look awesome! i have a fear of knitting socks. when i first started to learn to knit i thought socks would be a good beginner project :-O needless to say they are still in a bag. maybe i'll pick them back up...
