Almost everything is packed and ready to go on our Big Bear getaway! I've just got diapers in the washer to finish up so I won't have to wash while we are away. And I need to combine some suitcases- we have one large one and 3 small ones and they all have empty space in them, so I'll get rid of at least one of the small ones. Everyone's clothes are in there though- that's the hard part! We've got borrowed snowpants and boots for everyone (package from Minnesota arrived this morning with stuff for Stella- just in the nick of time!) and lots of layers of clothing packed. Now if we could just get some snow. The forecast is looking a little bleak for us snow-seekers. But at least we know they'll be making snow at the sledding hills. And I guess we won't have to worry about those pesky snow chains, right?
Jason has a work-related lunch thing in Barstow, and then we can head out from there. We'll be back Friday night and I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to share this weekend!
Cool, have fun! Thanks for the surprise package at my door.
ReplyDeleteHi, if Toccoa can get snow than Bear Mountain should have a storm. We got 4 inches .It was so beautiful. Thats one thing I miss so much is a long white winter. I made a little snowman and put him or her in the freezer.Have the best time together.
ReplyDeleteHope you all have a wonderful time! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Love You! Pops
