and we're off

Almost everything is packed and ready to go on our Big Bear getaway! I've just got diapers in the washer to finish up so I won't have to wash while we are away. And I need to combine some suitcases- we have one large one and 3 small ones and they all have empty space in them, so I'll get rid of at least one of the small ones. Everyone's clothes are in there though- that's the hard part! We've got borrowed snowpants and boots for everyone (package from Minnesota arrived this morning with stuff for Stella- just in the nick of time!) and lots of layers of clothing packed. Now if we could just get some snow. The forecast is looking a little bleak for us snow-seekers. But at least we know they'll be making snow at the sledding hills. And I guess we won't have to worry about those pesky snow chains, right?

Jason has a work-related lunch thing in Barstow, and then we can head out from there. We'll be back Friday night and I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to share this weekend!
