challenge met

And I even finished this on Wednesday this week! It has taken me this long to get the pictures off the camera and posted though.

I got ALL of the kids clothes organized. I separated the stuff that goes back to my sister now that Stella is out of it (we swap clothes back and forth), the stuff that goes to my niece Ava now that Hazel is out of it, a few things set aside for some friends and cousins, and got all of our kids' summer clothes out and into their drawers and closets. All of the things that will probably still fit them in the fall are in labeled boxes with their names on them, and the outgrown or to-grow-into things are in labeled boxes as well. I weeded out the girl baby clothes and got rid of a lot of things, keeping only my favorites just in case we ever need them ;)

It is so nice to have it all done- there have been many times at the change of seasons where I have left random piles of clothes around, needing to be put away but never getting finished. Now with everything all stored properly I know right where to put them as I run across stay items that need to be put away. And when we need a pair of pants and a sweater for that odd chilly day, we know right where to get it.

I know- it's not rocket science. But sometimes the simplest things get neglected and it can really affect the peace and order of our day-to-day life.

  1. Nate and I need to go through our clothes. More me than him, of course. I always have more winter clothes than summer clothes, and they get all mixed together, and even though there are only two of us, and we're adults, it gets so complicated!

Your work to make your home more peaceful and cohesive is really inspiring. I've been getting the apartment more organized as a result! Thanks! :)
