road trip

I've finally finished everything I needed to get done before we leave. We had the van loaded and both the littles in bed around 9:30, but then I had a snack and relaxed for a few minutes before I got back to work finishing my last minute sewing (you knew there had to be some sort of last minute crafting in here somewhere, didn't you? Our niece, Trinity's birthday was today and we'll be seeing her tomorrow, so I had to finish up her gift!) It is now 12:45 and I have the sewing done and Lyle's diapers clean, dry and folded- the last of the laundry. Now I am debating whether to take that shower I was planning for... Jason's alarm is set to go off at 3 am (gulp) so I'm thinking I'll skip it.

So, we'll be pulling out sometime before 4 am, headed for Flagstaff and our wonderful vacation rental! I'll be back Monday with pictures from the Grand Canyon. Have a great weekend!
