I got a little behind there for a while, but I'm back on track now. These are the blocks for April and May, and I'm working on the June blocks now (although June is slipping through my fingers quite rapidly...) For anyone who is interested, these are Noro Kureyon #166 and 172 in the first picture, and #124 and 128 in the second picture. Close-ups below.
Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished product. Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteEven though you showed me...I still don't understand the color change on these blocks...all from one skein of yarn...trippy.
ReplyDeletelove all those colors... its going to be so pretty when its all finished!!! who is the lucky person to get it???

This is my gift to myself this year. There are 24 blocks in the entire afghan, and I am doing 2 each month to spread it throughout the year. Hopefully by New Years I'll have it sewn together and be snuggling up under it! :)
ReplyDeleteI really am enjoying this project. Both working on it as well as watching your progress. I REALLY need to start blocking some of mine or I'm going to be in for it!
ReplyDeletei think that is smart & a good idea to make something big & beautiful for yourself to enjoy for years to come... you make for everyone else all year long. you will be bringing in the new year with it & also in a new state!!!

beautiful. I think I probably won't start mine until January and follow your lead with 2 blocks a month. My b'day is in Jan so it will be a great present for the next year!
