bath in the sink

Lyle LOVES the water. He likes the big bath with his seat just fine, but the sink is really much easier for me because I can stand up instead of leaning over the tub. And it uses way less water too :)

He is 8 months old today! (this time I know I have it right...) Notice the redness on his legs and arms- that is from scooting all over the floor on this rough carpet we have. He does not want to be held much these days- just wants to be down so he can scoot around! He is pulling up to his knees on things now too. I think he may just skip crawling- he is so efficient at the low crawl he doesn't seem to want to get up on his knees. All of his clothes are turning black on the tummy though. Ick.







Oh, and here is a shot I got of his hair- it is kind of blurry but you can see his long hair at the top of his head really well. The rest is all pretty much one length and filling in quite nicely, but he has these few long strands that are about 3 times as long as the rest and they stick up all the time. It is so cute!!
