travel log: petaluma, ca
Our last stop on the journey was Petaluma, CA. We pulled into our friend's home when it was nearly dark, after leaving Ashland around 1 pm. We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the chilly night air for a while before heading inside to play until everyone was giddy with overtired-ness. For the first time on our trip we all had beds/futons to sleep on- so we felt like we were in the lap of luxury!
Our only plans while in Petaluma were to visit- with our hostess as well as a whole group of online friends who we met at a park on Sunday. It was so much fun to put faces and voices to all the names and to get time to just chat. I am truly thankful for all the wonderful friends we have made through the online community. What a great bunch of people! And it makes travel so much more fun when we get to stop and visit so often.
These pictures may not be very interesting if you or your children are not in them, but most of the people who are will get a chance to see them here as well. And once again, the Flickr photoset is here.
This brings me to the end of our trip photos. I hope you have enjoyed looking through them with us! We will be back to regularly scheduled blogging on Monday- have a great weekend!
