The kids and I found a new place to go when we want to walk and explore the outdoors. It is part of the Oconee River Greenway, and it was a lovely place to just stroll around picking up leaves and enjoying the fresh air.
It's a lot of fun having new and different parks to check out. With trees! And water! (well, a little water anyway- Georgia is still in a severe draught.) But at the same time it is kind of hard when you don't know your way around very well, and you don't have those old standby places to go yet. We are still checking the map at stoplights, trying to figure out where we are going, and keeping an eye peeled for new hangouts. This one is sure to a repeat stop for us.

ReplyDeleteThat looks beautiful! I am envious. I would love some fall foliage right now (sadly it is mostly green around here all of the time). It certainly makes for some great pictures.
