halloween

Our first annual Halloween Masquerade was a success! We rushed around all week getting ready, but once people started arriving we were able to relax and have a great time.



We had decorated the house with arrangements of dead flowers and branches, spiders and their webs, and lots of candles.







The kids went trick-or-treating and then we came back to the house to eat, play games, and just hang out for the rest of the evening. I am wishing I had taken more photos, but I guess I was enjoying myself too much. I did manage to get a picture of every family in costume together, except my own. Our picture is missing Stella, who refused to participate. She did wear a costume, but I don't have a single photo! I'm going to make her put it back on this week to take her picture.

















Some really great costumes!! I was so impressed with all the adults- they really got into it and had fun dressing up. I know everyone is going to be planning all year for their costume for the next party.
