what happens when you get in a hurry
Checked 3 ears, looked OK, grabbed 2 more without checking. This lovely specimen is one of those 2 :( It was deceptively plump due to a ton of excess silk and husk. SIGH.

that is sad...we've never gotten one that strange looking, they always look okay...how did you check them? I've never thought to do that before.
ReplyDeleteYou pull down some of the leaves and make sure there are decent looking kernels in there. Obviously I would not have purchased this one if I had checked LOL
