a new project

Welcome to our newest project! What, you might ask, am I doing starting a new project?! You are correct, I am one of the world's leading procrastinators, and I am highly skilled in the art of starting projects doomed never to be completed. Many of you are already painfully aware of this fact, as I have likely promised you any number of handmade items, photographs, or correspondence at one point or another. Birthdays? Holidays? Yes, I see them come and go and have many thoughts of what I could have made or done. It's a disease- really. I like to blame it on heredity, so call my Dad and lodge a complaint if you wish.

But identifying the problem is half the battle, is it not?

So, in an attempt to at least stay somewhat connected to our dear loved ones scattered far and wide, I am starting this blog. It may be a tremendous failure. You could all soon be my witnesses to yet another unfinished project. So I am confessing this right up front, and I am not making any promises. My hope though, is that this will be a method which will fit into our very hectic and somewhat disorganized life. I would like it to be a tiny job each day (or maybe a little less often) which I will be able to fit into the schedule at some point, and give a small snap-shot of what we are up to. I'll try to post pictures. I'll try to write often. I'll even try to make it interesting.
