We saw more rain yesterday than we have seen in the entire 6 months we have lived in California. It was glorious! Thunder, lightning, and lots of rain! We were all in need of a nice damp day too- Hazel suffered a very bloody nose over the weekend due to the dry air. The rain was a welcome change, although it was dark and dreary all day so we didn't feel like getting much work done.
So as soon as dinner was over we all got into our jammies and headed upstairs to pile on the bed for an evening of "Return of the Jedi", complete with big bowls of homemade coffee ice cream all around. A nice ending to our very wet day.
