now that's ice

Daisy got an email from Pops with some fantastic pictures of ice accumulation around Lake Geneva in Switzerland after an ice storm in 2005. I just had to look it up to find out more. Here is one page, and here is another with photos- click on them for some great up close shots. Unbelievable!!

  2. Great pics, Mike---Thanks! We're going below zero tonight for only the third night this season. Have only gotten 9.5 inches of snow so far--the poor kids barely have enough to sled on. Nice when it snows at colder temps, though---it's like shoveling feathers, and it blows right off the highways. About the time I sell the snowblower we'll get 18" or so. That's life in Minnesota.
