Ugh. We are at one week since Stella started coughing. She is finally starting to get better- her nose is not running nearly as much and the cough is almost gone. Lyle slept better last night- not quite so much congestion and just a little cough this morning. My head is finally starting to clear- no headache this morning (yesterday was HORRIBLE) but I still can not smell or hear very well, and a little tickle in my throat that sends me into a coughing fit every few hours or so. Hazel and Daisy have had a few symptoms- Daisy is going through hankies pretty fast this morning and Hazel's head was hurting last night, but neither of them have been coughing much. Jason's cough was worse this morning but the 3 mile run he went on for PT probably didn't help that.
So. We will all live, but it's not been much fun around here.
I finally got a few pictures uploaded from the trip- and some video. We really had a blast, and I am so glad that most of us were still feeling fine until the day we had to come home. The cabin was just wonderful and the kids had a blast tubing down the snow hill. I'll tell you though, it sure was hard for this native Minnesotan to slap down SIXTY-SIX DOLLARS for 3 tickets into that tubing place. The hill was fun, but disappointingly small for the cost. The $22 per person gave us 6 hours of tubing, and I am not ashamed to say that Jason & I switched pants (the ones with the lift ticket attached to them) after the first few hours so I could go home and take a nap with Stella & Lyle. There was no way we were going to pay for both adults when one of us had to be with the littles all the time anyway. That's just nonsense. And get this- they accepted CASH ONLY! What sort of a place with a $22 entry fee doesn't take credit cards?! Good grief. Well anyway, here are some fun video clips from our sledding day.
That hot tub had to feel great! Only thing miss'n is me & Grammy!
