finder's keepers?

Look what Jason found on the ground at the airport. He was working, so did not have time to check into returning it to it's owner at the time. We will call the airport and find out if there has been a report of a lost iPod, and if the owner can identify it in some way. I am guessing there might be a way to track the owner down through the serial number too, if they have it registered. IF neither of these things brings us any information about the owner, then I guess we have a new iPod! We'll see what happens. We just can't see keeping it without at least some effort to find the owner- I would feel just terrible if I dropped my iPod on the ground :(

Update: Jason called the airport and learned that the person who lost the iPod is an employee there. We had found a name on the "about" page in the iPod, so we knew for sure this was the rightful owner. We'll be shipping it out tomorrow!
