that's very true. There's a set of new commercials that show kids out of control, screaming, yelling, being wild and then the bus driver (or some other adult in the situation) pulls a DVD screen from the top of the bus (or ceiling of the classroom) and *BOOM* all the kids shut up and turn towards the TV and are quiet. I hate what it implies. And I'm glad we have a no TV during the day rule. (Ok, except shows that reinforce their lesson for the week that's on the Discovery channel, history channel or EWTN) Theresa
I LOVE those comic strips--- it gives new meaning to the old addage "What you don't use, you lose." I can tell you for sure it applies to my muscle tone as well as my brain( I need to exercise them both.) Love, Grandpa
