...until we leave on the Great American Road Trip*! Here is a representation by one of our in-house artists of how we might look, driving through Redwoods NP. Notice our nice new (used) trailer with all our camping stuff in it (Aaaaaah- all six of us will be able to stretch our arms and legs inside the van! Since all the stuff will be in the trailer!). Also notice Jason's scruffy face from not shaving while we are on leave, and me knitting in the front seat. The 4 cute kiddos are there in back, enjoying the view. You can even see the sunlight streaming through the trees- it looks so wonderful! We are really, really ready for this break. It can't come quick enough!
*Our itinerary looks like this: 2 nights camping in Yosemite NP, 2 nights in Redwood City (SF area) with friends, 2 nights camping in Redwoods NP, 2 nights camping in Tacoma (WA), 1 night in Ashland (OR) with friends, 2 nights in Petaluma (SF area again) with friends, and then home. Our last big hurrah before we leave the West Coast.
