...this cute little bag was a men's shirt (the blue), a junior's top (the lighter floral), and a maternity dress (the dark pink floral). All thrifted here on Fort Irwin. You just can't get fabric cheaper than buying clothing for 25 cents a piece. Do you know how much fabric there is in an XXL men's shirt?! A lot.
The pocket was taken right off the shirt, and will make a great little spot for keys or cell phone.
I got fancy with the stitching on the handles, too. I really like how it turned out.
Very cute! Is this one for yourself or a gift for someone else? I am so glad you have gotten into sewing, I need to get back into doing more of it again. Love you, Mom
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteSoooo... when do you open for customs?
Yeah Jennifer. I'd like to order one for MOrrighan and one for me. It's very hip....
ReplyDeleteHA! HA HA! In my spare time I'll open for customs. Or when pigs fly- whichever comes first.
ReplyDeleteAnd this one is a gift! I made one for Daisy for her birthday and also for her friend Briana's birthday and never posted pictures of them. I need to do that one time- they turned out really cute!
so cute! gonna post the how tos???
ReplyDeleteI am in AWE of your recycling... you should post on that site about recycled crafts (maybe you already do?)
Very Nice! You are amazing! Can you teach Grammy how to do some of this stuff? So, she could make some gifts too! Pops
ReplyDeleteJennifer, beautiful as always! It is too bad you don't have more free time... ;)
ReplyDeleteJust awesome, Jennifer! I'm finally getting back into sewing (when I get back to MI). I have lots of plans. I guess I'll have to show them off when I'm done like you do (love seeing your projects), but mine won't be nearly as pretty (or well done) as yours! :)
