Afterwards, they came over to our place for a few last jumps on the trampoline, and because I wanted to get a picture of them all in their shirts together. And then it was time to say goodbye. These have truly been Daisy and Hazel's best friends, for the past year. They have spent so much time together and will miss each other tremendously. They are moving to New York and we are moving to Georgia, so there is a chance we will be able to hook up again one day- but it will be a while.

We have lots of good memories though, and of course will stay in touch. Time runs out so quickly when you want it to last and last! Take the opportunity to spend some time with a good friend while you can.
Oh, they all look great in their special t-shirts! What a great job with all the colors!! Love you, Grandma
ReplyDeleteawwww it must have been so hard for them and you as well :-( saying goodbye is never an easy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteThey're leaving already? I thought it would be another month.
ReplyDeleteTheir PCS isn't for another month. But they went on leave and the kids are staying with family during the move and not coming back here.
ReplyDeleteOh I know that is so sad for you all. I'm so glad you had such a great family to hang with this past year! Now onto the October countdown.....
