I am very close to finishing. The doll quilt is completely done, and the larger quilt is pieced, layered together, and in the process of being quilted (machine, not hand), and then I have only the binding left. I had to make a trip to town because I did not have enough of the right fabric for the binding, but that is just typical- I'm always flying by the seat of my pants like that. So anyway, that took several hours, just due to our location. I'll call that my excuse, and I'll have pictures by Wednesday of them both completed.

Whew! Trying to create things when there are several young kids around is no joke. Setting deadlines helps get me going, but sometimes they are impossible to keep. Crying babies and demanding toddlers take precedence.

  1. I know exactly what you mean! The last couple weeks I've gotten next to nothing done! Hope you can finish those gorgeous quilts before the move chaos really comes down on you!
