This little exchange took place in the car, riding home from a restaurant after dark, with very tired children. It was directly followed by large amounts of laughter, and fueled a good mood which lasted all weekend.
Kathi (my cousin): Well, I think we lost Lyle.
Stella: No we didn't! He's right here in the car- I can feel him.

ReplyDeleteStella had me laughing all weekend. I forgot how much "life" that children have in them and how exhausting but utterly priceless the time spent with them can be. Thanks Jennifer for sharing your family with me for this short but memorable weekend.
