Lyle got a
tunnel from my parents for his birthday, and he LOVES it! We also picked up this little
tent with the short tunnel at our thrift shop back in Fort Irwin for $4! Pretty nice deal, and it works well with the new tunnel to make a big play area right in the living room.
Lyle likes to experiment with entering and exiting through places other than the doorways. He really seems to enjoy knocking things over and barreling through!
Stella has a great time getting in on the fun as well. The tunnel and tent are the perfect size for the two of them to play together.
I am so glad you are enjoying the tunnel, Lyle & Stella. Looks like great fun!! Love you, Grandma
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the good kind too! We got something like this several years back, but it was constructed with some paper towel like fabric (well sturdier than that) and faded and got all tore up. I've read the nylon tents and tunnels are way hardier and last longer.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a good time! We bought John one a 2 years ago for Christmas and it fell apart in 2 days. We should look again for a better one, I bet both John and Olena would enjoy it too.
ReplyDeleteYES! We have been extremely pleased with the quality of this tunnel. The "bones" of it are nice heavy gauge wire as opposed to plastic, and the nylon fabric is holding up well. Sharp objects would obviously not be good near it, but for just playing I think it will last a long time.
