field trip
Yesterday we took a family field trip to Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta. We wanted to get there before the Frog show was over with, because Daisy is a very big fan of frogs. The exhibit was fantastic, and we all had a really great time. It was our first visit to this wonderful museum and we will be sure to make it a regular thing at least once a year I'm sure.
After checking out all the frogs and eating our picnic lunch, we were able to enjoy both the Imax films with the girls (Jason and I each got to see one while the other watched Lyle) and wander around the rest of the museum. There was a lot to take in and I'm sure we'll see lots that we missed when we go back next time.
Lyle reeeallllly liked the dinosaurs, and Stella reeeallllly hated them (read: deathly afraid). Ha! They are each so different.

That is fun! It will be neat as the girls get older to do things like that. Right now, the park is the greatest thing in the world!! Love you all.
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool that you have these fun and educational places so close to you now. It looks like a great time. And that is Lyle? My gosh he is quite the little man!
ReplyDeletecool museum and great picture of the frog!
ReplyDeleteFernbank is such a fun place to take the family. Morrighan loved going there. We only lived about 5-10 minutes away when we were in Atlanta.
