birthday date with daddy
Friday night, Jason took Daisy out for their annual date to celebrate her birthday. He brought her a bouquet of yellow daisies and a matching corsage to wear on her wrist, and she wore a dress she'd been saving for a long time for this special night.
I always try to take some good photos of the girls before they go, since they are dressed up and we so rarely get professional portraits taken of them. Just for fun, here are the posts from when she turned twelve, and eleven. I started the blog a few months after she turned 10, but a photo is here. Beyond that I'd have to get on my old computer to find photos. It is so fun to compare how much she has changed in the past 4 years though! Not to mention Jason :)
This year, they went to The National for dinner and dessert. We had cake and presents on Thursday night but I'll post those pictures separately tomorrow. Daisy had a lot of fun and has been talking about their dinner all weekend. I know these dates are very special to the girls and are something they will remember forever.
