The other day we got out of the car at the nature center and Lyle immediately dropped to the ground to pet a big patch of moss growing nearby, saying "sooffffff".



On the way back to the car when we were through, I stopped to take a photo of it. Lyle quickly produced a car from his pocket (he seems to always have one handy) and started driving it all around the moss. That guy never fails to make us laugh! Here I was admiring the wonderfully soft moss and marveling at how it had caught the eye of my two year old, and he just wanted to drive his car on it. But really, that is what comes naturally to him. Playing with his cars and being outside are two of his favorite things, so he was just combining them.
