museum of natural history

Thursday afternoon we went to the National Museum of Natural History. This place was seriously awesome, and had something for everyone. It was put together so well, with displays that were interesting to Lyle and Stella as well as the older kids. There was just SO much to see! We made it through the ocean section, the dinosaurs, the gemstones, and the mammals, and left so much unseen. But everybody had a great time and we saw so many cool things. I would highly recommend this place for the whole family.

Today we took it easy and have stayed around the hotel, and went to meet Jason for lunch. Lyle got an actual nap on the bed instead of on my back or in the car seat, and we are all rested up and ready to go see DC after dark tonight! We'll be celebrating Jason's 35th birthday too, so hopefully we will get to eat somewhere good. More to come soon!

**There are lots more photos in my Flickr if anyone is interested in looking through them there.**
