retiring the potty chair (for now anyway!)

We just installed a new product in our bathrooms and I am beyond thrilled with it so I thought I would share. It is called the Flip-N-Flush potty seat. Stella did a fabulous job learning to use the potty this year with her little potty chair, but we were getting tired of having to dump it out every time she used it. The splashing, etc. was just not very much fun, especially in light of her recent stomach virus (BLECH). So, this is a perfect solution for us. The thing attaches to the toilet so it can be flipped up out of the way for adults and older kids, and then flipped down into place for the tiny tushies in the house :) I really like that it is attached, so it can not slide around and we don'e have to have a spot to store it next to the toilet. They come in really cool colors, but we had to get plain old white because we have elongated toilet seats in this house and they only have the colors for standard seats.

So, if you have a toddler or know someone who does, pass this along. We are very pleased and Stella just thinks her new seats are great! We got one for the downstairs bathroom and also one for the kids' bathroom upstairs. One more step towards independance for her! Yay!
