Remember this? Well, it hardly got used at all, and it was just sitting there taking up good yarn. Some of my favorite yarn, in fact, and in such vibrant colors too. I just couldn't stand it so I frogged it and just had to share with you the wonderful loopiness of freshly unraveled knitting. I've since washed it so it would go back to it's original form, and soon it will be a ball again- ready to become something else.
I love that about knitting. It's so unfinal. You can knit something, wear it for years, and then unravel it and start all over again. Or (in this case) you can knit something, hardly use it at all, and then unravel it and start all over again. Very nice.
**In knitting terms, to Frog something is to unravel it, or "Rip" it.
Rip it. Rip it. Thus, frogging.
Looks like cool spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteOh, cool! I remember wondering who well that would work...can't wait to see what you've got planned for that yarn next.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your going to do something with that lovely wool. The colours are so bright and cheery! Our sleeper sacks never got any use here either :-(
