new truck, goal met, and a break

truck

First off, Jason got a new (old) truck today! Of course, it was after dark by the time I could get a photo, so it's not the best. But this is pretty exciting for us because we have been a one-car family for a long time. Jason drove his motorcycle or bicycle to work the entire time we lived in California. But we're further from his job now, and it rains here and gets colder too. So he really needed something else to drive. Buying a car is so much different now with the internet! He did all his research, decided what he was looking for, and found it within an hour of here. All he had to do was go test drive it and pick it up!

Secondly, I did it! I managed to hang in there for the whole month of NaBloPoMo. Whew! There were a few close calls, but I made it. I've had a lot of fun, and only feel a little burned out- HA!

Which leads me to my third point- I'm taking the whole weekend off!! And maybe even a few days next week. I'll be back by Wednesday for sure. Thank you all so much for reading and especially for your comments. I appreciate them more than I can ever say. Have a great weekend!

  2. I agree with Misty - I have so enjoyed seeing a post every day even though I know it has to be hard for you to find time every day to post. We love hearing about what you are doing and seeing the pics of the kids! Love you, Mom

  3. I, too, check more than once a day for any "new" posts. You do a wonderful job of keeping us all in the loop and I appreciate it so much. Christmas is just around the corner and you need time to get your projects done, also.
Hope you have a white Christmas for you all to enjoy!
    Love,
    Aunt Karen
