birthday date with daddy
Jason took a much deserved (and needed) break from loading and hauling this afternoon, so he and Hazel could go out and celebrate her birthday. This is a tradition we began when Daisy turned five, and the girls have really enjoyed it. In case you have joined us since the last big date, here are the posts from the past few years. It is amazing to see how much she has changed! (not to mention Jason!) Hazel's bouquet this year came right out of the yard- a beautiful bunch of daffodils and camellias.
They were headed into Athens to eat Italian food, and I'll update this post with pictures from the restaurant when they get back.
We are looking forward very much to Stella's first date this fall, and I am especially excited to be getting to join in the tradition in a few years when Lyle turns five! This has been a really nice way to show each of the kids how special they are once a year.
